I played the game that was suggested to me by a post on this blog, the one where you have a household with 1 hot female sim and 7 male sims and whoever sleeps in her bed dies and the last one standing marries the chick, well I got extremely far on that, was up to 10 illegitimate lovers for the woman and 7 for the man, made the man and the woman have a child, and then made the woman have a child with one of her lovers and drama blows up in everyone’s face. I played this game for like a week IRL, and in the end I wasn’t even able to save it because the game was corrupted or something and it grayed out the save button. It was still fun, but there was a freaky part.

The 6 male sims from when I started out, the ones I killed, when they died I deleted the ash pile (they died by flies) and then deleted the Grim Reaper when he appeared so they wouldn’t waste time mourning their deaths. After that, though, the woman and the man had no recollection whatsoever of the deceased individuals, it didn’t list them in their relationships and “so and so died” wasn’t in either of their memories. Now here’s where it gets weird. Whenever I played the woman when she was in the room with the bed (and consequently the room where they all died), she’d get “ghost” autonomous actions, where the icon was a pile of ashes and they all disappeared almost immediately and thus too fast for me to scroll over to see the tool tip but I assume they were to mourn the ashes. Additionally, when they got married, in the man’s memories he had “Carol (the woman) has joined the family!” as per usual of marriages, but he also had six other “joined the family” memories, all of the men that had died at the beginning. Last but not least, the first sim that showed up to welcome them to the neighborhood in the beginning still sometimes calls for some of the guys that died, and it kind of depresses me to see the “Thomas isn’t here? Okay, I’ll call back later.” message.
